EST part 1: from melaka ---> kajang satay --> kajang spicy soup (辣汤) --> kampar curry chicken bread

what is EST? 

it stand for END SEM TRIP... hahaha...

this time is to bring my fren play around at ipoh....

2nd of May 2011...

2 days after my exam...

is the date i go back my beloved hometown =)

and this time go back with my another fren... 

total 6 ppl depart from melaka..

and plus 1 ppl depart from kajang..

going to have a trip for it....

after packing packing..

we depart at around 10am+..

a photo taken beside the toll...

we plan our 1st stop will be eat the kajang satay...

but then...

dunno why my GPS cannot connect that day..

so gonna ask my fren by phone...

luckily my road sense is great.. haha..

not difficult to find the road in KL...

so after fetch my fren...

she bring us go for it...

 this is the 2nd satay restaurant i eat...

this one got lot of brance..

at those toll ther and other...

 a place in kajang with satayssssss...

 the menu...

but so sad.. lot of the thing dun have..

 only available chicken, beef, lamb and rabbit..

the staff for get me order the rabbit..

so replace it later..

 overall...

the sauce is NICE !!!.

but then.. not worth eat lamb and rabbit..

the meat not so fresh..

so suggest eat chicken or beef next time...

better...

afterward... go to try the spicy soup（辣汤） at kajang...

think to try out this restaurant...

 but it's full...

so go another corner shop...

to try out all..

we order 1 spicy soup...

then other... i forget the name.. ahhaa...

spicy soup..

the concept is almost same as the bak kut teh..

just the soup is spicy soup..

the ingredient of the soup is ginger and black pepper..

and plus some meat...

 ???chicken

taste not bad la... *it's just normal*

 火爆肉/咸鱼花腩煲

it's quite good... *normal also*

overall... price is RM62..

not so expensive... still ok ok la..

but the taste of the spicy soup...

i DUN LIKE it..

because i dun like ginger taste.. hahah...

the other also not bad =)

act planning go for the senget tower at teluk intan..

when reach half way..

saw the sign board....

40km remain...

OMG...

so far far away...

so change plan..

go kampar which on the way back ipoh....

so we head to the kampar famous curry chicken bread...

 the famous curry chicken....

with bread...

and also herbal chicken bread...

but it's not so match la.. curry chicken bread better...

every time i eat curry chicken bread..

i will feel that..

how come curry chicken bread so expensive

(small for RM28)..

if we eat seperately..

buy RM10 curry chicken and RM10 bread..

sure u eat until beh tahan ady lo.. hahah..

but honestly.. curry chicken bread is not bad la...

after this... we head back to IPOh......

Melaka Gadek Hot Spring

oh.. after a CNY BBQ party..

my fren's fren say wanna go hot spring..

so. after discussion...

ON !

so go GADEK HOT SPRING.....

after dunno how long journey.

*i too tired zzz at car*

finally reach..

then why we want to have this hot spring???

it's state ther.. but i never read.. LOL...

just a sharing la...

then finally we enter....

act... not so good la this gadek hot spring...

coz too many ppl...

cannot really have a relaxation place...

and the style is not so good also.

and the thing is too boring la...

cannot boil egg...

cannot have other thing to play...

but got 1 special is...

u can watch TV while having the hot spring..

and got few pondok ther...

ppl come hot spring to zzz??

weird..

Satay Kajang ~ not bad.. but not the best ~

while on the way from melaka back ipoh...

go kajang for having a satay...

coz heard lot of time satay kajang is nice..

when reach ther..

1st time use the machine for parking...

put in at least 50 sens.. for 1 hour..

then it will issue a parking card for u...

hahaha

and the shop just opposite of my parking...

restorant malaysia...

heard that is the most famous in Kajang...

 showing that the pose on making satay.

the sauce.. look a bit disgusting..

and actually the chili oil and the satay sauce is seperately..

if u want extra spicy or less spicy.. i think u can tell the ppl...

the satay sauce is quite concentrate..

lot of groundnut is inside, but it ady almost full mix with the sauce..

and with a ketupat..

 satay ------->

got lamb (rm1.20), beef(rm0.70) and chicken (rm0.60)

 1st try....

 act not bad la.. but not reach the best level as i though...

and also.. the ketupat...

MALACCA: Barely two months after its grand launch to mark Malacca’s developed state status, the city’s RM15.9mil monorail line has ground to a halt owing to a host of problems.

Launched on Oct 20, the monorail has been idle for a month after developing problems with its wheels and software system.

The China-made monorail line, spanning 1.6km from Taman Rempah in Pengkalan Rama to Kampung Bunga Raya Pantai along the Malacca River, is part of the state’s aim to tap the potential of the river as a tourist attraction.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam had launched the system to mark the recognition of Malacca as a developed state, 10 years ahead of the national Vision 2020.

Hours after the launch, however, a coach with some 20 passengers stalled about 100m from the Hang Jebat station.

Operator Menara Taming Sari Sdn Bhd used a skylift to rescue the stranded passengers.

The project is a joint venture between the Malacca Historic City Council and state subsidiary Kumpulan Melaka Bhd and Agibs Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd.

The Tourism Ministry has approved an additional RM13.2mil for the monorail phase two extension project under the 10th Malaysia Plan.

On Thursday, a visibly upset Mohd Ali said four engineers from China were trying to iron out the problems affecting the monorail.

“Some screws keep breaking and the rims of the wheels had to be replaced.

“We hope the engineers will be able to fix it within a week,” he told reporters after closing a refresher course for National Service trainers at Permata Resort Camp in Alor Gajah.

He said if the monorail continued to face problems, the state government would not buy additional monorails from China for the proposed extension project and would, instead, source them from Europe.

Menara Taming Sari chief executive officer Nazry Ahmad admitted the monorail had been out of service due to “several technical and mechanical problems”.

“We have been facing problems with the monorail on and off since it was launched. It is now closed to the public,” he said yesterday.

but oftenly when pass through the station. the train always stop ther...

or normally we call it Melaka River Cruise 

now it got a big big banner ther..

and this station call station HANG JEBAT..

from the banner...

it's obviously operating..

but... less ppl take this...
